Ingredients:
100 g of cream contains: oil extract of comfrey, willow, white birch, elder and pyrethrum (1:4), essential oils of mint, rosemary and eucalyptus 6.0 g, camphor 3.0 g, menthol 1.0 g, panthenol 0.4 g and allantoin 0.3 g in a suitable medium.
Characteristics and effects:
The active components have an antiseptic, antiphlogistic, irritating, (camphor) effect on the skin, stimulating nerve endings and rubefaciently (essential oils) causing hyperemia, which results in increased blood circulation in deeper tissues, alleviating inflammatory processes and reducing pain.
Increased blood flow accelerates the transport of harmful products of metabolism from the muscles after excessive activity.
Oily extracts, i.e. active principles from these herbs have long been used in folk medicine for the treatment of arthritis, joint pain, gout, fractures, sprains, sprains, contusions, diseased tendons, rheumatic neuralgia, lumbago, spondylosis, lower back pain, sciatica, muscle inflammation and other sports injuries.
Menthol has an antiseptic and local anaesthetic effect.
Panthenol – dexpanthenol is transformed in the body into pantothenic acid (vitamin B5 – an antidermatitis factor). The active form of pantothenic acid in tissues – coenzyme A, is necessary in the process of metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, and for the detoxification of certain metabolic products. These processes in healthy skin serve to preserve its proper functions, and in damaged or diseased skin, they accelerate its regeneration.
Allantoin is a natural organic substance that has an anti-inflammatory effect. With its keratolytic action, it accelerates the penetration of active substances into deeper tissue layers and improves their epithelialization. It stimulates the process of metabolism in parts of the connective tissue under the skin, which stimulates the growth of cells and removes harmful products of metabolism.
