PANTHENOL CREAM
with oily extracts of marigold, carrot and vitamins A, D and E
100 ml e
Ingredients:
100 g of cream contains: dexpanthenol 5 g, marigold flower oil extract and fresh carrot root (1:4) and vitamins A, D and E.
Characteristics and effects:
Panthenol – dexpanthenol is transformed in the body into pantothenic acid (vitamin B5 – an antidermatitis factor). The active form of pantothenic acid in tissues – coenzyme A, is necessary in the process of metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, and for the detoxification of certain metabolic products. These processes in healthy skin serve to preserve its proper functions, and in damaged or diseased skin, they accelerate its regeneration.
Panthenol cream restores and maintains the skin’s natural moisture, softness and elasticity. It has a hydrating effect (moisturizer and emollient) and the ability to absorb UV rays. It has a beneficial effect on preventing the appearance of age spots on the skin.
Marigold is an antiphlogistic, epithelial and antimicrobial. It is most often used externally for healing wounds and rapid epithelialization of damaged tissue. It helps with purulent inflammation of the skin, for dressing wounds, after wasp and bee stings and in the period of tissue regeneration after burns.
Marigold oil extract improves epithelialization and is used in creams for healing and removing scars from burns and preparations for the care of dry, rough and cracked skin. It helps with varicose veins and dermatitis of various etiologies.
Marigold petals contain essential oils (0.1-0.5%) with menthone, g-terpinene, caryophyllene, carotenoids, bitter substances (calendulin), sterols, calendulasloids
(2-10%), flavonoids, immunostimulatory polysaccharides and tannins that exhibit antiphlogistic effects by inhibiting leukocyte infiltration and inflammatory processes and aiding tissue granulation. The anti-inflammatory effect is most likely related to the presence of prostaglandin type E-1.
Panthenol cream also contains fresh carrot oil extract, a natural source of vitamins A, D and E, which are found in sufficient quantities to accelerate the revitalization of the damaged epithelium of mucous membranes or skin and prevent bacterial and fungal infections.
Vitamin A deficiency leads to dryness of the skin, an unnatural white-grey colour and hyperkeratotic changes. This is most pronounced on the extremities because there skin is dry due to the normally smaller number of sebaceous and sweat glands.
Vitamin A repairs damaged cells through tissue regeneration, accelerating mitosis and proliferation of epidermal cells. Prevents the formation of old-age keratoses and seborrheic warts.
The presence of vitamin D in this cream helps in the treatment of psoriasis, and also serves to protect vitamin A from oxidation.
Vitamin E is very easily oxidized, so it is called a protective vitamin and antioxidant. It improves the microcirculation of collagen and elastic connective tissue fibers and has a strong anti-inflammatory effect. It prevents the formation of acne and purulent processes by suppressing the oxidative processes of sebum ingredients on the surface of the skin, that is, the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids, as well as other substances that easily oxidize in tissues and create harmful peroxides, i.e. lipoperoxides that accelerate cell mitosis and lead to dandruff and pimples.
It also slows down premature skin aging, reduces erythema (redness) that occurs after sunbathing and accelerates the regeneration of damaged cells and wound healing. It is often combined with panthenol and vitamin A, with which it best blocks the enzyme peroxidase and protects against photosensitivity. It increases the moisture of the inflamed part of the skin, stimulates the epithelialization of surface damage and increases the sun protection factor (SPF).
Instructions for use:
